The question
I came across a post about Amitabh Bachchan writing a blog. What was a blog, and why was he writing one? I found out it was a way to talk to people online, and that you could earn money from it.
The classroom
I found Indian Facebook groups like “Premium Tricks by IF” and “SEO and Ranks with Jack” that ran free SEO webinars. I watched all of them and read everything I could find.
Venkatesh
My friend Venkatesh Geddam lived nearby and was already in the industry. He saw my blog and said, “Oh Rahul, you are into this as well?” From then on I had two mentors: Venkatesh to guide me, and Google to teach me.
I started blogging on 31 December 2014. I didn’t even know what AdSense was.
